I purchased a new front tire over the phone from Performance Cycle in Denver. They didn’t install tires, but said they work closely with Woody’s Wheel Works only a few blocks away. I called Woody’s and they said if I could get there by 1pm they would be able to put it on for me. So, I left a few minutes before noon and got there by 1pm. Performance delivered the tire by the time I got to Woody’s and it was installed and I was back on the road in under an hour.
Woody’s had wi-fi, so I hooked up my Xoom tablet and started going through my email. They were done by 2 or so. I headed back, picked up some supplies at the local supermarket, filled up the tank and went back to the house. Got a bit wet, but nothing as bad as the clouds looked.
Did more web work when I got home.
