Went to Aircell and was taken on the tour I mentioned yesterday. Nice facility. Looks like it will be a good place to work. I was treated to lunch by my “inside contact”. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to meet with either of the two main people I was hoping to meet.
On the way back I left I-70 and took SH 6 for a better ride. It was, but I ran into a thundershower. More intense than any so far (watch the video on YouTube), but as soon as I rode out of it, since I was still on the freeway, I dried right up. Actually, it was refreshing. The temp dropped from about 95F to 61F. My goal was to drive through Golden to get another look at it, but I guess I rode right past it. But I did ride down the quaint and touristy main street of Idaho Springs (watch the video on YouTube).
After getting back to my buddy’s place I did some web work. Then we went into town for a buffalo meat kabob dinner. Very tender, juicy and tasty. Then back to my buddy’s and I completed an online job application for the Test Engineer position at Aircell.
